The Exo Terra® Solar Ray Dome Fixture has been specifically developed for use with the Exo Terra® Solar Ray Ballast. The combination of the Exo Terra® Solar Ray Dome Fixture with the Exo Terra® Solar Ray Ballast will assure that your Solar Ray all-in-one Metal Halide Bulb provides optimal levels of visible light, UV and heat. Although this combination was specifically designed for use with the Exo Terra® Solar Ray Metal Halide Bulb, this combination will increase the performance and lifespan of any metal halide bulb.
The Exo Terra® Solar Ray Dome Fixture gives you the versatility of placing the UV, light and heat source on your terrarium where it is most appropriate for your animals. The aluminum reflector increases the light, UVA and UVB output significantly!
The Solar Ray Dome Fixture is designed to make installing a metal halide lighting system as safe and easy as possible, no electrical installation required. Its heat & UV resistant 5kv (EU) 4kv (NA) pulse rated ceramic socket, and double insulated Class 5 rubber power cable, with easy to install IP68 rated waterproof HID screw-lock connector guarantee an easy, safe and waterproof connection. Simply connect the screw-lock connector of the Solar Ray Dome Fixture to the screw-lock connector of the Solar Ray Ballast, insert your Metal Halide Bulb in the ceramic socket, and plug in the device.

The Solar Ray Dome Fixture 5.5″ / 14 cm (PT2316) is ideal for use with the Solar Ray Ballast 35W (PT2127) in conjunction with the Solar Ray Bulb – 35W – PAR20 (PT2105) or 35W – PAR30 (PT2106)
