The Exo Terra® Turtle Heater is a preset electronic submersible heater that maintains an ideal water temperature of around 26°C or 78°F, perfect for aquatic turtles and most other aquatic reptiles and amphibians. The computer-calibrated NTC thermostat is much more accurate than conventional systems and the temperature is preset, so no manual adjustment of the temperature setting is required. The NTC also provides a dry-run protection in case the Turtle Heater is removed from the water, or if the water level drops below normal.

The rugged protective cover provides absolute safety and prevents aquatic reptiles and amphibians from coming in contact with the heating element. With its dual suction cups, the Exo Terra® Turtle Heater can be mounted easily and securely on the glass side or bottom of the Aquarium, Terrarium or Paludarium. The submersible character and compact design of this U-type heater allows you to easily conceal the heater behind a visual barrier, or even install it horizontally in shallow water.

A built-in LED clearly indicates when the Turtle Heater is actually heating. The LED indicator light will light up RED when the Turtle Heater is heating, and turns BLUE once the element stops heating.
