Exo Terra®’s Pineapple Hide adds colour and enhances your Tiki themed terrarium! It is a secure hiding place for small reptiles and amphibians, the top has a designated food cup holder to hold the Exo Terra® Crested or Day Gecko food cups. A proper hiding area is an essential feature of a natural terrarium. Without a safe spot to hide and sleep reptiles and amphibians will easily develop stress that will affect their activity and appetite.
By adding Exo Terra’s Forest Moss you can create a slightly moist microclimate, ideal for tree-dwelling reptiles and amphibians to soak up moisture via their skin as well as to deposit their eggs. Tree-dwelling reptiles are often reluctant to use ground-level food dishes. The elevated food station allows tree-dwelling animals to feed and drink without the need to leave their comfort zone.
