Departure in Brussels (8:10) and Arrival in Dar-Es-Salaam (22:35). Overnight in Dar-Es-Salaam at the Mediterraneo Hotel.

Day 2: 1 November 2008

Drive to the foot of the Uluguru Mountains past Morogoro town to Nyandira village. Over night in the guesthouse. Night walk in the forest.

Day 3: 2 November 2008

Full day exploration of the Uluguru Mountains, with night walk in the forest. Overnight in the Nyandira village guesthouse.

Day 4: 3 November 2008

Drive to Mikumi National Park. Reptile search in the park. Overnight at Foxes Safari Camp.

Day 5: 4 November 2008

All day at Mikumi National Park with scouting expeditions in various parts of the park. Overnight at Foxes Safari Camp.

Day 6: 5 November 2008

Drive to Tukuyu from where we will explore the Poroto Mountains and Lake Nyasa. Overnight camping at Lutengano Moravian Campsite, about 10km outside Tukuyu.

Day 7: 6 November 2008

Full day MPoroto Ridge Forest Reserve (Poroto Mountains). Overnight camping at Lutengano Moravian Campsite.

Day 8: 7 November 2008

Full day MPoroto Ridge Forest Reserve (Poroto Mountains). Overnight camping at Lutengano Moravian Campsite.

Day 9: 8 November 2008

Full day near Matema on the shores of Lake Nyasa and at the foot of the Livingstone Mountains. Overnight camping at Lutengano Moravian Campsite.

Day 10: 9 November 2008

Drive back east to Ruaha. Camping overnight in public campsite.

Day 11: 10 November 2008

Full day in Ruaha. Camping overnight in public campsite.

Day 12: 11 November 2008

Drive to Mangula, HQ for Udzungwa Mountains. Overnight at Udzungwa Mountains National Park public campsite.

Day 13: 12 November 2008

Full day in the Udzungwa Mountains, Mwanihana trail. Camping overnight on trail.

Day 14: 13 November 2008

Full day in the Udzungwa Mountains, Mwanihana trail. Camping overnight on trail.

Day 15: 14 November 2008

Drive East to Mikumi National Park. Overnight in Vuma Hills.

Day 16: 15 November 2008

Drive East to Dar Es Salaam. Overnight in Protea Courtyard Hotel.

Day 17: 16 November 2008

To the Airport for our flight back to Brussels where we arrive at 10:15 the next morning.
